Bruschi says Sean Lee reminds him of himself -Sleeper for first round?

Sean Lee could surprise and end up in the 20s of the first round,but will the Pats take that risk?

If Bruschi is right that he reminds him of himself and he turns out to be another Tedy then I am all for drafting him,but I really wonder if Lee in the first is a big gamble,especially if that OTHER PSU DE is still around.

Lee is smaller and much more of an athlete. But, like Bruschi, he has a nose for the ball. He is much more of a baller than Posluzny was.

That being said, Lee has been beset by injuries.

A guy that small should not be taken in the early rounds.

But he is very close to a Shane Conlan type.

I think you are wrong regarding the phyisically part.

Bruschi was barely over 6', though he was listed at 6'2.. Bruschi played around the 250 range.. Yes, Lee is lighter than that, but he's a solid 6'2 and could put on 10 lbs easily.

In terms of their abilities, Lee already has experience in leading as he spent a year acting as a coach from the sidelines while he recovered from a torn ACL.

His splits show that he has no ill-effects from the ACL surgery and his 3cone and shuttle were amongst the best.

I wouldn't have a problem with Lee as an ILB in the 2nd round.

People like yourself make all sorts of claims on here about how they are "close" to this program or that program. And its usually BS.

For Instance. Lee only missed 3 games as a freshman (not due to injury) and 3 games as a senior due to a sprained LEFT knee. Which is actually pretty common when players have torn the opposite ACL.

So, What are all these "injuries" you are referring to? Because other than those, the only games he missed were because of his ACL in 2008..

235 pounds is not going to cut it for a Patriot MLB.

Just curious, since I work @ PSU, how did you get to see practices? I know JoePa is pretty tight lipped about practices. Did you work for the team? Where did you live on campus?

I lived in Nittany Apartments next to the football players.

They work out outside on the practice field half the time, the turf field right next to the nuclear reactor.
