Tedy Bruschi had a screw implanted in his broken wrist yesterday and, according to a source close to the Patriots linebacker, hopes to return for the season opener.

Definately,It was a major bummer to hear of Bruschi's Setback.But with the heart that he had last year to be back by week 7.I have no doubt he will join us by week 3.God Speed Bruschi.Here's praying to fast recovery!

I hope he doesn't try to come back too early. I've read too many horror stories about this type of injury. I'd rather have him for 11-12 games rather than him trying to come back too soon and jeopardizing his career. Even if we lose him for the first 4 games, at worst we'd be 2-2 but more likely 3-1.
