Bruins vs Canes

damn; this ain’t looking good

Pasta misses an open net a couple minutes ago and now scores with 20 seconds left…

Thought Marchand had the equalizer :crying:

If this is it… thank you Patrice.

Terrible officiating, home cooking and arguably some of the worst puck luck any of us have ever seen but at the end of the day a championship level team overcomes that. The Canes having the home team's last change proved one obstacle too many for Boston. Canes are going to be a tough out

Bergie played some of his best hockey in years this season so I'd like to think he comes back. That said, he's taken one heck of a beating the last few years. if he decides to walk while he's still at the top of his game, who are any of us to fault him?

Been away the past fortnight... So has Sweeney been fired yet?

nope...talking about extending him. The front office is a disaster and the team is falling apart. it will be a rough start to the next season as we have a few key pieces out with long recovery times due to surgery.

Sweeney just fired Cassidy. WTF...coach can only do so much with this horrible roster.

That's a ****ing abomination... How can you fire a HC with Butch's record after he replaced Julien, who never won 4 straight opening-round PO series like he did?!? Was it his fault that he was given DeBrusk, Sanoonoo, Zboril, JFK & Freddy instead of Connor, Barzal, Chabot, Roope Hintz (or even Jordan Greenway) & Alex DeBrincat?!? Un****ingbelievable.

Cam should make Sweeney coach this ****ing mess next season while he trades almost Everyone for picks & prospects, then fire Sweeney's ass ML Carr-style so he can then hire an actual competent GM to make the picks in the 2023 draft, the first of which could very possibly be in the top 10, and who won't send this franchise down the ****ing toilet like Sweeney did during the 2015 & 2016 drafts, and during the trade deadlines shortly thereafter.

Can't help but wonder how this sits with Bergeron

we will see...this might make Bergeron's decision a little easier

TBH it's no surprise he is wrestling with his decision. Heck, I'm just a fan and I'm conflicted. After his record breaking 5th Selke Award Bergie's place as the best defensive forward of his era is secure. A damn good argument could be made he may well be the most complete 3 zone overall forward in the game even now. That said, when every off season seems to come with another surgery he has to be considering whether the juice is still worth the painful squeeze when there's nothing left for him to prove and the odds of getting another championship to ride out of town on seem a bit more diminished each year. This year's Selke may well be as close to going out on top as he's likely to get, there has to be some appeal to that.
