Browns Leaning Toward Starting McCoy

Does it really matter who they will start?

At this point it looks like it will definitely be McCoy. At least the Pats know and have a couple of game films on him.

Cleveland Browns can't camouflage Colt McCoy likely starter | cleveland.com

Any chance of keeping the New England Patriots guessing about the Browns' starting quarterback on Sunday is gone. It's going to be Colt McCoy for a third straight game.

Neither Seneca Wallace nor Jake Delhomme will participate in practice again today because of their high ankle sprains. Neither has practiced suffering their injuries in the Atlanta game on Oct. 10.

So saddle up McCoy for another start.

"I think we're moving pretty strong in that direction," coach Eric Mangini said today.

Too bad. I really, really wanted Delhomme to start.
He would've been good for about 3 TOs all by himself.

Was this ever really in doubt?

The guy comes out and has as a good of a first start in the NFL as one could hope. And he did it on the road against Pittsburgh. Then goes to New Orleans, doesn't turn the ball over and Cleveland comes out with a win.

They are 2-5 and need to find out if this is their guy for the future. McCoy starting was never in doubt.
