Broncos moving Jeudy

I was all about trading for him up until a week or two ago. I have seen enough out of him the last few weeks with the constant Twitter fighting with various people and ex-players and now last night acting like a child while Steve Smith was doing his job. Jeudy doesn't have anywhere near the production you would hope from a first round pick but acts like a diva wide receiver. This team shouldn't be adding anyone anyways.

I don't know if you should take Steve Smith at his word. Smith was a major trash talker during his playing days. He might not be the innocent victim he claims to be and/or he could have provoked Juedy to respond like he did. Remember Steve Smith is the guy who broke Ken Lucas' face. Lucas was his teammate and it happened in a brawl at practice.

NO ONE is going to take JSS. It was a colossal error. Most (smart) fans knew it from the get go.
We're going to have to eat that $ this year. I'd rather lose JuJu and Parker the rest of this year and start building reps for next year.
But, there's no way BB admits his stupidity of re-signing Parker.
I'd love to roll with Bourne, Pop, TT, Boutte (and trade for Jeudy) the rest of the year just to see who's worth rebuilding with in '24.
They should just IR Juju the rest of the way and hope his knee gets better roll with the younger guys that's in the Teams best interest. Let TT and Boutte ball the rest of the way barring injuries.

Yeah I remember Steve Smith a real hot head diva WR who could ball he seems like a J Jeudy hater.

I mean he's still not wrong. Jeudy is mediocre.

It isn't just last night with Smith. He had a meltdown last year during the Chiefs game and started screaming and bump a referee and should've been kicked out of the game. Then this year getting into it with former Broncos like Philip Lindsay, Mark Schlereth and Rod Smith on Twitter. He is an immature malcontent coming from a bad team with a bad quarterback and if we traded for him what would he be here on a bad team with a bad quarterback?

@203Pat are we trying to help Mac or what?? Jeudy would be part of the eval process.

I don't know why people are so hell bent on moving Parker. He's getting paid around $6M a year, that's depth WR money. It's not prohibiting them from adding multiple guys ahead of him on the depth chart. He can be a fine 3rd or 4th WR if there are talented guys who can separate ahead of him that demand attention. He's just awful as a WR1.
Yeah, it's weird. Parker (and even JuJu) are on small-ish contracts. Neither are even at Algohor money. I think it's more a playing time thing. There's only so much playing time for the WRs to go around and they'd rather see Boutte, Douglas (once he's out of concussion protocol) and Thornton play.

At this point no. I know I have seen enough out of Mac and Bill and want to turn the page and don't want to give up an assets for a malcontent receiver who may end up being a 1.5 year rental anyways. This team should be sellers at the deadline not buyers.

An expensive rental at that. His 5th year option was picked up. If there was money going back (juju?) I would think about it but an early pick? No way.

He is a progress stopper. Get him off the field and out of the way of the young guys. The young guys might suck but we already know Parker does. He is a 50/50 guy who doesn't win anything close to 50% of the contested passes that come his way.

The sad thing is we don't have much to sell on our most critical part Offense what a pickle. I am sure BB ain't having a fire sale on his Defense.

Can't let Stevie look bad.

I am surprised that him and Mac have yet to click in that area I am sure they practiced it numerous times but it just haven't translated on gamedays. We need a different scenario.

I agree that the other guys should get a look but I don't think they need to cut him to do it.

It really doesn't make sense to cut him or Juju money wise but I think people just don't want to see them out there. Parker I would rather have him just sitting on the bench but Juju just really annoys me and cap be damned I just want him gone. What difference does it make at this point? Just throw it on top of the $25 million with of dead cap we already have this year.

Oh boy you're pissed and understandably.

Interestingly Juju would make some sense to trade. As a post-june trade, his signing bonus prorations would hit next year's cap, so they'd take around a $5M dead money hit in 2024. However, he has a $7M guaranteed salary in 2024 that they'd be able to avoid by passing it off on his new team. They'd gain around $2M in cap space this year. If they just cut him next year, they end up with a much larger $12M dead money hit. So I think they'd either want to keep him through the end of 2024 or otherwise trade him before 2024 starts. But I don't know what team is starving for him. Maybe KC will take him back, actually. They'd be getting him for extremely cheap this year (less than $1M cap hit) and relatively cheap next year since his signing bonus is being eaten by NE.

With how he has looked so far no team is going to take him unless we pay most of his salary. He looks like he's straight up washed and the Chiefs didn't seem to do much to retain him this offseason. Crazier things have happened but I would be very surprised if anyone was willing to take on anything other than a small fraction of that awful contract.

Is there a Trade Deadline??
