Kick offs never added or removed from my overall enjoyment. I am ok to just get rid of it and start from the 25 everytime. That probably means less special team spots which is the only upside of this portion of the game IMO.

Yes kickoff TD returns are exciting but they are so rare they are really irrelevant on a weekly basis.

Although I think Favre is scum for stealing millions welfare funds and some of the other BS he has done, I don't wish Parkinson's on anyone. My grandfather had it and it was awful to watch him lose his entire body. He was completely bedridden not even able to feed himself the last years of his life.

I think in our lifetime (well, in my lifetime... some of you are pretty old), we'll see high school, then college, then NFL move most of the way to flag football and take out almost all of the hitting.

Relevant for those complaining about the new kickoff format (which will likely get adjusted). The rate of concussions during a NFL kickoff return was 4x higher than during other plays.

I guess trying to tackle DBs after a pick is kinda like playing in kickoffs. Favre was really a core special teamer when you think about it.
