Brandin Cooks appreciation thread

Tough crowd here....with the way Brady chews up and discards receivers ...Cook did more in his first season with Brady than anyone else not named Moss....
Yes but Cooks was a rare instance of trading for a well established top 10 WR.

Wouldn't call him a "well established top 10 WR" at the time of the trade...which was about a year ago. But he was a fast deep threat still on his rookie contract.....which = desirable player.

My criticism of him in the Super Bowl doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate what he did throughout the season.

He did blow it out n the super bowl. Hopefully He does better this year. He has the potential

He’s good but as mentioned it’s noticeable how he struggles with physical cornerbacks.

One thing I was slightly disappointed in is by the hype I thought he had super high end type speed. Obviously he’s still very fast but he isn’t at a Deion or Moss level.

Funny that this post got a dislike, but that’s essentially what Cooks did. Failure to cut upfield down in the red zone followed by him doing an impression of Chris Brown shortly before being knocked out cold qualifies as full ******.

And what does Belichick benching our pro bowl cb the entire game qualify for?

If only he didn't get took out in the SB, could of help put up another 7 or two that could of beat the Eagles

...I think his injury was the 2nd biggest contributor to the pats loss in the superbowl...
Wrong, and Wrong.

After the drive in which he was injured ended because of Skippy's unforgivably ******ed 3rd/5 call, the offense scored 4 STRAIGHT TDs before the strip-sack. So how the hell was our lost little Cookie going to help us improve upon that?

You mean to tell me Cooks doesn't atleast put 7 up the whole game? Or maybe his presence opens the door for a big play for someone else leading for a score?

I think you forgot Wes Welker. He had more yards, more TDs, and didn't make himself look like an idiot in the SB.

Hate to bring this up but
