Question i'm asking is because the answer is something i truly believe in my heart.

For me no matter how dominant that Hawks D is, Brady is so much better in the big game and so much more clutch than Peyton that i don't see a way he wouldn't win with so many weapons.

Randy Moss recently told Tom Curran: it "hurts" to see Tom Brady without a full arsenal of weapons.

Judging by votes it's point proven, Brady doesn't get blown out, especially in a SB.

It would be a close game but in my "hypothetical," Tom still loses.
I think the last 2 Super Bowls we lost to the Giants showed that even when surrounded by a tremendous offense cast, Tom struggles against a defense that can bring pressure. Furthermore, I think Seattle's D is better than either Giants team. Those Giants teams were weaker in the secondary, but we lost the game to their front 4. Just my opinion...

brady will always have a chance to win. he won't go out quietly. i would say hawks would win, but i won't be surprised if brady comes through at the end.

Difference is the coach. Rarely do the Pats get blown out and that's due to good coaching and team preparation.

Any QB is going to have some struggle against a defense that can get consistent pressure (both edge and middle) when only rushing 4. Even when Manning had time, he was forced to move around.

The thing Manning does better than Tom (or really any QB ever) is to disect the defense presnap and pick up mismatches. He gets far and away the majority of his yards by getting 1 on 1s with his huge array of weapons. However he is not the ideal QB to have when there aren't many mismatches on the field, and when the defense has enough cover guys to remove any glaring mismatch.

That's where you want someone like Brady who is both more accurate in that short-intermediate range and has more of a zip on his throw to get it in there nice and tight.

Someone like Roethlisberger or one of the mobile QBs would probably have done better than Manning here as well, simply b/c Seattle took away Mannings greatest edge.

I do think Tom would have made this game close (and perhaps put some pressure on Wilson to lose it) and I'll always point out that he basically had the 07 SB won for us (it was our D that let us down) despite facing a far more brutal pass rush than Manning today.

Where is the option for not a blowout but Pats still lose? Those weapons were pretty useless today and I don't think Brady would be able to fix that. Seattle's D was solid all the way through. No weak points at all.

Brady doesn't attempt the pass that turned into a pick-6. I know people complain about Brady ducking in the pocket, but we saw the alternative tonight.

This. One's thing for sure is when Brady knows it is NOT a good time to throw he pulls it down and takes the sack because it is the best thing that can come out of the situation. What's the situation? Take a Sack, Sack Fumble, Pick 6, Strip Sack.

Brady just get's it in those situations, Peyton for all his intelligence doesn't

I dont know, I think we should give props to seattle.

They are a defense on the top of their game and the played lights out yesterday. They knew exactly how to play manning yesterday just like baltimore knew how to play us back in 2009. And the result was not much different.

Tom did put up a bit more fight in the second half, While Denver basically quit midway through the third quarter, but the end result was very similar. Sometimes its just one of these days.
