Practice notes

A few notes from today's practice, which was held inside Gillette Stadium, with the team getting used to the new FieldTurf surface for the first time:

* QB Tom Brady was wearing Mike Vrabel's old-school Ohio State jersey, with the No. 94 on the back. The jersey also had Vrabel's name on it. On Tuesday, Vrabel said the jersey was part of a bet he had with Brady on last Saturday's game between Ohio State and Michigan. Vrabel went to Ohio State, while Brady went to Michigan.
