Brady is a grandmaster at saying nothing

Yeah, he's been taught pretty well by the master of press conferences who ends up saying absolutely nothing.

This philosophy runs throughout the team--or at least those with the slightest bit of common sense anyway. It's the right way to go with the hungry media of today's society who will be more than happy to twist any and every word completely out of context.

He's ascended to the BB level.

I briefly thought there was a shot at Edelman for missing practices, but that was canceled out by Brady's later comments.

The first commandment of Belichickian press conferences: Thou shalt not throw players under the bus.

A press confrence about nothing. thats gold jerry, gold!

Yet the mediots are satisfied with this dribble... TB12 has become a master at many things..

Would make a good politician..

That's smart...that's all that is.

Don't give them any ammunition. Of course, that's a deliberate tactic.

Success makes them want to talk to you, but it also allows you to whitewash everything easier. Always remember that bad things sell better than good things in this business, so don't give them an excuse. Says a lot about people, ask me.

Yep playing for BB that long will do that for ya. BB is the bizzaro Abraham Lincoln; covers very little content in many words.

I wonder if Belichick was the same way when he coached Cleveland. He had a lot more explaining to do there...

I think Brady presents a study into how you can interact with the media, give them nothing, yet at the same time keep them happy. He has it down to a fine art at this stage in his career.

No he learned first hand that what passes for today's journalists, the Mediots weren't interested in news. They were interested in salacious activities, or even good events that could be distorted and twisted into them.
He learned to "Give them nothing and let them Howl".

I think this is exactly correct. If you listen to the respective interviews on WEEI that Brady and BB give, they both say the same things...or they don't say the same things, depending on how you want to look at it.

However, due to their personalities, if you were to just listen to their answers, one would assume that Brady is giving so much more than BB. Heck, D&C are convinced that they get dirt out of Brady every week. He even has the interviewers hosed.
