A good read. This is what I like about Bill. You never want him mad at you. If you screw up it is on your shoulders. He focuses on making sure all of his players know where they are and what they are supposed to do under all circumstances. Once he passes that information on to you then any mistake is not because he didn't do his job. The man is simply thorough.
I used to race dirt cars. I had a partner that was meticulous. Paid a lot of attention to detail. He and I came to the track to race. We always had a chuckle when we would see someone having to work on their car at the track. That isn't where you want to make repairs, that is where you came to race. We had one year where I won more than half of the races I entered, and that is a stout statistic at this level. We won because we were prepared, and that is Belichick. He is Mr. Prepared. You have to like that kind of mind.

“Every day we show up to work knowing what to expect, and he expects a high level of concentration from us. He wants us to go out there and perform at our best every day and when we don’t he lets us know. He motivates us in different ways and he’s always trying to get the best out of us. He holds everybody accountable, certainly holds himself accountable and I’m very fortunate to play for him.”

The thing I love about Bill is that he expects every player (no matter if you are johny superstar or a practice squad player) to practice and prepare at an elite level and if you don't you're gone. As someone who played and coached at high levels (hockey not football) when you have a culture of hard work and discipline it allows the coaches to focus on strategy and game planning rather than on managing a player/practice. For those who have coached if you can have practices where the intensity/effort matches the games you can now take your team to a new level. The consistency over the last 15 years speaks volumes to BBs coaching. He should win coach of the year every year.
