I don't think we have any players on the Patriots who grew up in NewEngland...I could be wrong...so why should any of them like the Red Sox?

Tebucky is from New Britain, CT.

Gostkowski is a Red Sox fan, although he went to high school in Mississippi.

Those are the only two I can think of off the top of my head.

Meh, it's no big deal. When Drew Henson was in the Yankees' system, he had the Yankees players in Ann Arbor all the time. I remember Jeter and Knoblauch were at the Ohio State game in 1999, and stuck around and went out with us afterward. Jeter was a cool guy (he was actually enrolled in UM for a semester) and I know he and Tommy talked for a while. The Yankees players still come back to Ann Arbor for basketball games, so there's definitely a connection there.

I believe Tom was drafted by Montreal as a catcher. He says that it's a similar position to quarterback as you're calling signals and managing the game.
