Didn't want to clog up the Alamo thread with this so made a separate thread.

Brady: 400 yards passing, 3 TD, 1 INT
Mac: 290 yards passing, 1 TD, 1 INT

Brady 70% 300 yards 2 TD 1 INT
Mac 65% 300 yards 2 TD 2 INT

I think the offense will open up a little against TB's weakened secondary to mixed results but ultimately gets Mac his first 2 TD 300 yard game. Brady's stats suffer a tiny bit when the Bucs realize they can just run all day on us. Pats lose 30-27.

Even with 2 INTs I think that would have to be a step forward for Mac. They're playing a really good defense

I want to see him open it up. He has to. That 5 YPA game isn't gonna cut it in the NFL.

The Bucs pass defense hasn't been really good this year. The Bucs have been pretty bad against the pass this year. They are dead last in passing yard allowed. They are 15th in the league in passing yards allowed per attempt. They are 18th in opposing QB passer rating. They are 29th in opposing QB completion percentage. They are dead last in passing TDs allowed. They are dead last in sacks (they only have three sacks all year for a team that is supposed to be dominant in the front seven).

They will be depleted at CB which has been killing them. JPP was out last week and hasn't been practicing this week.

Based on the play so far this year, the Bucs are going to be the worst pass defense that Jones will have faced this year so far.

I don't think the Pats will win, but I don't think this will be a bad game for Jones. Especially if JPP doesn't play, I don't see him being pressured like he was last week and the Bucs pass defense sucks this year. I think Jones will has best game as a pro so far on Sunday. I just don't think it is enough to keep up with Brady and the Bucs' passing offense.

Brady 350 4 TD's
Mac 220 1 TD 2 INTs

This is all true but they're last in sacks because they've faced better than avg OL and good QBs with very low TtT.

They now face a below avg OL and a rookie QB that tends to hold the ball longer. If the front 7 can create enough pressure on Mac, it will hide a lot of their secondary suckage. Doubt Pats try to run much as that's the strength of Bucs D. Also, you know Brady has unloaded all his knowledge of Josh's tricks, plays and protections to Bowels.

He who executes better wins. But you're correct, if Mac can connect w/ 20+ yd passes we stand a chance against that depleted secondary.

If you look at Prescott, Ryan, and Stafford's game logs. Their game against the Bucs produced their most yards and TDs for the season of any of their games so far.

And again, the Bucs are dead last in a lot of pass defense categories. So odds are good that even if they play a lesser offense, they are not going to be anywhere near the dominant defense they were in the playoffs last year especially without JPP and several of their top CBs out.

BTW, Mac Jones and Matt Ryan have the same average time to throw at 2.75 seconds. And Stafford's average is 2.71 seconds. Not sure if 0.01 seconds makes much of a difference.

This will be an awful week to feature the Coach’s pet in Bolden. I do not not want to see him getting 5 yard dump offs or screens designed for him. If this happens, it will be a long night with plenty of boos. I have a bad feeling his azz will be on the field as the Pats abandon the run early.

Tom shreds the secondary and the LB’s stand no chance defending any of the TE’s. If there’s a game we need to see Dugger’s value, it’s this one.

AB has a night and makes sure Pats fans remember.

Oh, I don't disagree. Their D is playing like azz. Our O is playing like azz. Their O is playing great. Our D is playing mostly great. On paper, based on your stats it should be a close game.

If I were BA I would run, run, run to attack Pats biggest weakness on D. BA being BA will have Brady pass it 60 times instead.

Yes, but the Pats should get Trent Brown back which could do worlds for the offense. Jones has the same average time to throw as Matt Ryan and basically the same as Matthew Stafford and the Bucs couldn't put pressure on them. If he can sit there for 2.72 seconds without pressure, receivers should get open against the Bucs' secondary. I just have a little more hope that the Pats' offense corrects some of their issues than the Bucs' defense fixes theirs.

But I don't know if the Bucs can run the ball effectively. They haven't yet. And I think Belichick would love them to take the ball out of Brady's hands. I think if the Pats give up 120 plus yards on the ground to the Bucs, they have a better chance to win because that probably means Brady isn't carving up the defense and making it a track meet.

Brady 305 yds 4 TDs
Mac 250 yds 1 TD 1 INT

Below is Stafford's TtT passing splits for the Week 3 game:

* 2.34 = # 3 quickest in NFL (Brady a fraction behind him)

* 22 of his throws were well under 2.5 seconds at 1.64 average TtT.

If Mac can do that, and Agholor can play like DeSean Jackson, Myers like Kupp, and Bourne like Woods; then I agree Pats win comfortably.

I’ve kind of already predicted Brady in a landslide. It’s only logical that he’s gonna crush this team with all his weapons.

However, the Alama-Bunker Hill in me says the Pats fight and claw their way to a close victory.

Brady 350 3tds 1 int.
Mac 275 2td 0 picks.

Pats running game finally gets it done, oline comes together and defensive front gets the interior rush to make Brady uncomfortable.
Perfect scenario, it’s time for BB to step up with a game plan and pull out some kryptonite for the man he coached for 2 decades.

So not really.

Harry's back. 200 yards receiving easy. Nobody will bother covering him so they won't see it coming!
Somehow i feel like even if the bucs didnt cover Harry all game he still wouldnt break 100 yards.
