Guys, where do you rate bradies step drop backs compared to other QB'S of the league? How well does he do it?

We all know his quick passes... i.e. screens, slants, short over the middle etc are top notch.

What about his 3,5 and 7 step drop backs?

Pats don't really run screens, and I don't think I've seen a single 7 step drop in awhile, then again I don't pay TOO much attention to that.

i have not counted he's steps but he's on pace for over 5000 yards and almost 40 TD's so im guessing he's doing pretty good

Only Chicago and Mike Martz do 7 step dropbacks in the league today

You can't make it. Simply as that

Just about every pass when he's under center is a 3 or 5 step drop. Unless he's through a quick pass to the flats, it's always a 3 or 5 step drop if he's under center.

Tebow did a 29 yard drop back, it didn't work well for him.

This thread makes me think of an old video I saw a few years ago of Walsh working with Cool Joe on his drops. The video was really good and I believe the whole piece I watched which included this clip was about Brady and his footwork and how it mirrored what Joe and Walsh did.

I like most dont pay close attention to his drops but we all can see how uncanny his footwork in the pocket is evading rushers and I would assume his footwork in his drops would be equally as good if not better as there is no improvising needed just on the drop like overall pocket presence requires.

So you are saying that Tebow is horrible at a 56 step drop? John Fox might want to take any plays with more than 20 step drops out of the playbook.
