The Bills are expected to schedule a meeting with offensive lineman Stephen Neal soon. He could join ex-Patriots Andre Davis, who signed with Buffalo over the weekend. "Things happen for a reason," Davis said Saturday. "I'm not mad at anybody, I'm not mad at myself or anything. It's just a matter of, I know if I can get a healthy season together, I'm definitely going to help a team out."

Sounds like we didn't want him back. No?

The success of the Patriots since 2001 is causing a great after glow to its players now. There's always interest in most any Patriot player now because the organizations around the league love people who'll bring not just good talent but winning attitudes. Nice thing about the system though is that it seems to nurture young talent by instilling positive attitudes and providing them opportunities to really shine on the field with the talent they've got. I hope the system continues to do that with whoever we sign this year.
