So his "numbers were a product of our system" around here...

Seems like Givens kindof felt that the "man" might have been keeping him down here.

I understand what he's probably talking about is BB's tendency to have the offense spread around - even using LBs on goal line situations

But I guess time will tell - it could very well be that the Patriots tendency to spread the ball actually helped Givens get open and catch as many passes as he did.

If he wants to be paid like a #1 that means being covered like a #1 - and its a heckofa lot more difficult to pull in passes with a 6 foot CB draped all over you.

honestly, I think he's saying those things like any big FA signing would to his new team and fans. They're expecting a lot of him and he wants to set his goals high as well. That's ok with me. At least he's got a positive attitude.
