Blitz for Six....

The Patriots have filed a trademark for this so that's going to be the slogan.

One of the articles I read said "is that the best they could do?"

What do you think? I kind of like it.

I think we are going to blitz a lot more next season.

Someone let me know if anyone thinks of a good slogan

I'm in the same camp of really disliking it. However, I dislike any slogan talking about making a run for the Superbowl, especially before the season even starts.

I fully appreciate "Do your job" and "Next man up" because those are philosophies. This whole drive for five and blitz for six is extremely corny in my opinion.

I hate it. Different season different team, to me it goes against Belichick's emphasis on the present and is really a media concoction, just as Drive For Five was.

It kinda worked out this year though...

I think it's trying too hard. It'd be OK to use once in a while, I guess, but I don't like it as a catch phrase.

NO. DAYS. OFF!!!

Let's hope the Giants continue to not adopt that mantra.

Do other teams begin picking out their Super Bowl slogans in February? Did the Detroit Lions already copyright "The Run for One"?

I didn't really care for "one more", when they brought it out the Pats still needed a lot more than one of just about everything.

i think it should be the Brady 6...but I guess you cant do it since its a team

Love it: Blitzed on Six (Pack). We All Have Slurry Speech!

Pix Six
Sic Six (our rival can add the extra 6)

Just want to see Bruschi (or perhaps Hightower) do this with 2 hands.

It's meh...none of that stuff does much for me.

From a PR standpoint, I get the Drive for Five thing, but "Blitz for Six" seems flat to me for some reason.

It also reminds me of the Steelers for some reason...maybe it's the "blitzburgh" thing

EDIT - Though as a Zeppelin fan, I'd get behind "Stairway to Seven"
I'm a huge Zep fan and that one is gold! Tommy Point for you. We gotta get the sixth one first though but that 7th one needs no further slogan discussion. Nikolai FTW!

I think it's silly. It seems they were more concerned with finding a word that rhymes with "six" than something meaningful. My biggest problem with it is the Patriots seldom actually blitz.

Well yeah it must be. You can clearly see the ball wasn't in

Ball is definitely in sight.
Well, its either the ball or he's dropping a deuce right on the goal line.

How about something to do with "Six Pack" with Brady carrying a six-pack of Lombardi's.

i prefer "in the mix for a sixth"

I heard it n don't particularly like it. It sounds contrived n made up. Whenever u said "one more" u knew what it stood for.
