It would go to the third tiebreaker (games vs common opponents). Common games are MIA (x2), NYJ (x2), the AFC North, and the NFC East. The Pats have a 10-1 record, Buffalo is 8-3 if they win tonight.

The Bills D is something else, big fast and deep. They are for real and their D is every bit as good as the niners.
Next week will be very tough for the Patriots.
I do n ot see them getting their running game going and it will be tough to give Brady the time he needs.
Best chance for Pats is for turnovers and special teams points.
I think pats will be favored by 3,which means the two teams are even.

If the Pats lose next week, they will be playing on wild card weekend but seem to hold the tie breaker over the Bills for first place in the division...

they have the common opponent tiebreaker over the Bills. So if they beat Miami in week 17, they have the Division.

it would take a bit of luck, but they could lose to the Bills and still get the bye if KC loses another game.
