Orchard Park, NY – The Bills today announced that the team has signed DT Larry Tripplett. In accordance with club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Originally a second-round draft pick by the Indianapolis Colts in 2002, Tripplett has played in 60 games over his career, tallying 182 career tackles and five career sacks. In 2005, Tripplett posted 37 tackles and four sacks for the Colts.
“Larry has played well in the style of defense that we are going to be playing here,†Bills general manager Marv Levy said. “He has a great motor and plays hard on every down. He keeps going and going and that is the essence of our defensive approach. We are delighted he is a member of our team.â€
