I suppose that wish is important to you.

BUF and its fans would focus on the playoffs. The division is unlikely for them even with a win. They are truly better off losing and moving forward. BUF has controlled the division for 5 years. Losing the division once is unlikely to put the team in turmoil.

IMO, if we win, Vrabel will NOT want to face BUF a 3rd time in the playoffs.
Division opponents facing each other 3 times in a season has always been a slippery slope to me (regardless of the outcome of the 2 regular season games)

Division at stake in a hats and tee shirt game. First in a long time for the now upstart Patriots challenging the old guard. The division champs' backs are against the wall Sunday and they will give it their all. Biggest game in Foxboro in years. Best moments of the season ahead.

Wishing has nothing to do with it.

Most of the Bills fans are fixated on the Pats schedule.

Very few are sold on Maye or this team.

I dont see Vrabel fearful of any team.

Why? Speaking as someone who will be sitting in it for three hours and walking 30 min. each way to/from the stadium, a modicum of compassion would be appreciated.

I prefer sitting in the snow rather than that 35 degree rain crap.

Get a legit line and Maye will be a legit pocket passer and will dice up any defense there is. He is that good.
I agree. Let's dump Onwenu and sign a top center or guard plus add a guard in R1 or R2. RT can wait until 2027.

Linderbaum is the grand prize plus a R1 or R2 RG. Maye would be upright for 20 years.

The one's off the top of my head where one team was swept in the regular season:

2020: Saints beat the Bucs twice only to lose in the divisional round.
2007: Cowboys beat the Giants twice only to lose to them in the divisional round,.
1999: Jaguars only two losses were to the Titans. Lost to the Titans again in the AFCCG.
1997: Pats beat the Dolphins 3 straight times.

I hope the team (especially the defense) comes out with the same (or even greater) intensity they had against the Giants.
I'm worried that they may come out sluggish like they did against cinncy after the mini break they had. Against the bills it could be fatal if the pats fall to far behind.

WHY? I was thinking something iconic and everlasting like……

The benefit to you is: you get to say: “I was there”

I have stories like that. For instance, we Patriots fans invented snow confetti -- I think the first time was during Gary Glitter's "Rock 'n' Roll (Part 2)" at the 2003 game vs. Miami. Here it is again from 12 years ago, this time with Bon Jovi serenading:

I remember our seats being drifted over with snow where we had to dig out a place to sit. And that was after falling down multiple times on uncleared icy sidewalks/parking lots en route to the stadium.

At the Jets game in 1993 -- which we lost on two field goals, 6-0 -- it rained so hard you couldn't see the other end of the field. The coldest, of course, was the 2004 playoff game vs. Tennessee -- 4 degrees F. with minus-10 windchill. You didn't want ANY exposed skin that night.

I go to games maybe once a year or two. If I could pick any condition it'd be snowy cold and dark everytime. Wish this was a 4:25PM game with a 100% chance of snow

Yeah, I'm not much of a drinker myself. Especially at football games.

Nah, this is a biggest game NE has had for years. Buffalo has controlled this division since 2020. People have been talking all year about how NE's had an easy schedule. Well, here's their chance to send a message by sweeping Buffalo and reclaiming the division. But it's bigger than Buffalo as NE is keeping pace with Denver for the #1 seed. This is 1996 all over again where Buffalo was in control of the division since the late 80's. Had NE lost to Buffalo at home, Buffalo would've won the tie breaker and again taken the division at 10-6. This is not time for a home let down against a divisional opponent.

I agree. Buffalo has been hanging on for dear life this entire season and losing again to NE is going to send a message to management that big changes are going to need to be made. It's not like they've had major injuries, it's more that their team is getting passed up by NE. I also see Buffalo slipping up and losing at least one more game. I could see Buffalo getting bounced in the first round if they don't win the division.
I don’t love regular season super bowls. We aren’t the Jets.

A team sweeping the regular season and is more likely to win a 3rd game than lose it based on history

10 times a team swept a divisional rival in the regular season and won the playoff game

6 times a team swept a divisional rival and then lost the playoff game

Possible; although I think that may have been due to a mixture of underestimating Cincinnati and the team being a bit worn down due to such a long stretch of games played. Willing to bet the house that Vrabel won’t let this team come out lethargic. Plus, it’s “hat & T-shirt” game…at home..against the reigning MVP…and a team positioning themselves for a playoff spot. No way..
