Here's what I'll say.. the have had games where mistakes were made and slow starts... this season. In game adjustments were made and they were able to win.. I don't forsee them having any "naps" like Vrabel said especially knowing the division is in hand with a win.. we all know Josh Allen is a phenomenal QB.. but... I have the Pats 27-20...
Knowing Josh Allen is going all out: we have to go gung ho on very snap. No Snaps off!

That's right.. no naps.. this is a game where definitely gonna have to play zone coverage..

Or play with a spy like Elliss. Fast and strong enough to bring Allen down.
Agreed.. Ellis have turned into an excellent LB.. LBs have become a strength and less of a weakness.. LBs coach McMillan has done a great job..

We are going to probably have to tweak something up front becuase the game plan we used last time Allen will try to exploit it..

Don't forget the Bengals were in position to win yesterday until two stupid throws from Burrow. The pick six was far more on Burrow than a great play by Benford (although Benford deserves credit for making a great play). Burrow never saw Benford coming in unblock in position to jump the pass and threw an easy lob to Chase. That play doesn't happen and I think the Bengals hold on to win.

Even the second pick is on Burrow. He threw it right into the passing lane where the Bills' defender already had his hand up in the air to block the pass. It wasn't like the Bills defender just got his hand up at the right moment.

I am sorry, but I think the Pats win that game yesterday. I don't see Maye making either of these throws. I am actually kinda shocked that Burrow made these throws because they are un-Burrow like throws.

These were great plays by the Bills. Burrow had picked them apart with this short stuff all game long. And the Bills just sat on it. It was an adjustment. They couldn't get to Burrow so they put their hands up.

If you want to blame anyone for the Bengals choking it would be Taylor for not making the adjustments. The Bills adjusted.

Agreed.. didn't help the Bengals cause that Burrow threw directly to the bills defenders on back to back series.. it took those 2 plays for the bills to even get back in the game.. as great as Allen is.. he deserves a better defense same for Burrow. Inexcusable to allow Allen to run 40 plus yards into the endzone.. what a joke of a defense Cincinnati has..

FTFY.

Complete embarassenent to have a QB of that caliber and surround him with that type of defense. But it begins with ownership. Cheap, stingy and just bad. Been that way for decades. Six years and can't find an OL either. The HC should have been gone two years ago.

I didn't say they weren't great plays by the Bills, but both were avoidable.

On the first play, Burrow seems to have seen Benford executing the CB blitz, but decides to do the ill-advised thing of trying to lob it over his head. It was stupid. But that doesn't take away from Benford making a perfectly timed jump to grab the ball. It was a ball that should have never been thrown. That is on Burrow not Taylor. It was first down. Throw it out of bounds or check down. Don't try to get cute.

On the second play, the defender had already jumped in the air before Burrow even releases the ball. In fact, he is actually in the process of landing from the jump when he bats the ball. Burrow throw it right to him. Again that is on Burrow. Not Taylor.

I'm expecting a tough game. Some breaks did go the Pats' way last game and the Bills O is better injury-wise and the Pats D is worse. But the Pats have been improving, and if they keep that trajectory and score inside the ****ing 5 yard line, I'm feeling good about things.

THANK YOU!.... well said. Great points. It's not secret the Brown family are probably the cheapest ownership family in the league.. the coach certainly seems not to be in tune with the game.. I believe that stems from him being the offensive player caller.. never liked HCs calling plays on offense or defense..it takes away from thier abilities to see the entirety of the game as a HC. Firing Anouromo was another bone head mistake. That year they went to the superbowl that defense was great. Been downhill since.

Adding context here.. pats D is BETTER, pats O is BETTER since that game... the bills offense is still the same hasn't gotten better or worse.. Cook is thier offense Allen ad libs off the the running game.. Shakir is thier 3rd down guy and they like going to know for thier big plays down the seams.. Bill D has worsened since we last saw them..

Patriots defense is better than when we last saw Buffalo even without Williams.
Patiots offense is better of course even with the recent goal line issues.. we forced two TOs that game and we gave away 2..

Allen is phenomenal, Drake is phenomenal..

We are the hungry team that hasn't tasted success in a few years... we win a close game 27-20..

Since this seems to be our pregame thread here's theirs from our buddies at Stadium Wall: Game week thread - Bills at Patriots*

Bunch of clowns putting asterisks with the word Patriots. Hey I can do that too.
Bills*
* Only team in NFL history to go to 4 straight Super Bowls and lose every single f'n one of them

The moronic takes in the billdo's forums about the upcoming game is just simply head scratching.

Check out this gem:

I mean clearly the passing game is solely Diggs right? I mean just check theses stats.....ball distribution anyone?

Jill's fans appear to all be related to Skip Bayless.
I need to stop reading their trash. I get irritated enough with some of our own fans takes to worry about their absurdities.
