It would have to a REALLY bad revelation for that to happen. Think about it: Kraft has been backing this guy 100%, but now he's going to force him out because of a slight against his team? That looks bad, so unless there's clear evidence that Goodell went out specifically to set them up, I doubt he is disciplined in any way.

He really has been backed into a corner. But he could have avoided it by nipping this in the bud. No obvious way for Goodell to come out ahead in this. Even full disclosure of a Kensil witch hunt would damn him.
