Care to wager whether or not he thinks life after football might be better than expected?
At 72, 8 super bowl rings, generational wealth, life long relationships with people in the NFL.. I think it's safe to say he's living life to the fullest. I don't see him going back into coaching.

Neither do I. I think he's going to be in football enough to get his fill, but I suspect that he's going to have much more fun this year, and he'll pour himself a big glass of Fekk That next summer and stay home. I will say that I think if the right owner calls him, I would not be surprised to see him interview, but it's gonna have to be someone he respects immensely. I think the absolute power ship has sailed for him, but if say the Marra Family called, he might go pay his respects. But in the end, I think he's going to say no way. He can go on MacAfee and hang with the Mannings and have a blast doing that.

I don't know... I think Bill is great on TV, and it's great seeing so many people be like "alright damn he actually is funny and is a genius", however I'm inclined to believe that he saw this as the way to have one last shot.

I'd love to see more of him on TV though. I know it's a niche interest, but I love people just pouring information.

Except when it's Romo refusing to shut the **** up about the longest field goal ever made for 15 minutes.

He seems to be having fun but I'm guessing there's still some competitive juices.

I would love to see Tom refuse to accept his Pro Football Hall of Fame honor until Goodell apologized for not acknowledging the reality of the Ideal Gas Law.

Tom has nothing to lose; why not?
The NFL on the other hand is always all about polishing their image.
It would force them to confront their fumble of the situation.
That will never happen. Brady is way too classy to turn his enshrinment into a HOF that has many of the players he looked up to into a pissing match over something he's moved on from. The situation is over. Brady fought it enough that the information is out there for people to make their own decision on it and the people that don't want to believe him never were anyways.

He's not going to make his HOF induction anything but a positive situation.

I think he wants that record too much. Though he probably is enjoying that he can now get some flowers for his contributions to the game and can have relationships he probably wouldn't when he had to be in coach mode.

Agreed, he looks happy he has a glow to him that I don't think I've ever seen in his time here. He has nothing to prove who cares about the Shula record, he's got 8 rings and I can't confidently say no one is going to surpass him.

For the first time in Nearly 5 decades he won't be preparing for a camp and signing and putting together a roster. He should be enjoying his life.. I know it's said that if you love what you do, then you never really essentially work a day in your life.

Yeah. In retrospect that record is miniscule on all he's accomplished.. no one is catching him with 8 rings. I don't think Mahomes will play long enough, and don't think Reid will coach long enough to catch Bill. I just don't forsee him coaching again.
