I don't think it's very low-key, tbh. Pretty uncharacteristic but likely indicative of his feelings matching those of Edelman/Blount from the Miami game.
I guess low-key as far as literal content said, leaving it to implication
That being said, it was pretty easy to read lol. You're right.
People act like Belichick is some unfeeling math robot, but we consistently hear players talk about him being funny and loving his players. I think he was pissed about the ******** on the field and a little implied **** talk directed at Miami, is the sort of thing a coach who loves his players might do.
That's what I was thinking. Because BB said "you know" doesn't mean he is disrespecting Miami or assumed they couldn't challenge Pittsburgh, even though that's the way it turned out. To figure he was "throwing shade" at the Dolphins with that comment is a reach. The other thing is..... What else did they have to prep for Miami? It's BB so they'd find stuff, but literally their last game was the Pats; they had already done all their prep work the week before for them. The only new material was their own game which they would have broken down by now anyway.
If you pay close attention, Belichick is a marvellous troll.People act like Belichick is some unfeeling math robot, but we consistently hear players talk about him being funny and loving his players. Bill's hilarious.People act like Belichick is some unfeeling math robot, but we consistently hear players talk about him being funny and loving his players.
I loved it when BB told Derrick Mason to shut the fk up and look at the scoreboard. LMAO.
I almost posted the same video. BB is an underrated **** talker, much like Larry Bird.
We' ll never know everything that's said behind closed doors, at practices etc but BB knows how to fire up the troops. He doesn't have to act like a rah-rah cheerleader like Tomlin, but i bet his players appreciate that even more- he's not calling attention to himself.
Speaking of bird I heard a great story recently fromI almost posted the same video. BB is an underrated **** talker, much like Larry Bird.
Larry was a **** but he was our ****My recollection is hazy because they just legalized weed here, but I thought Larry was a lot more of an overt **** than BB.
Speaking of bird I heard a great story recently from
Mchale.
Celtics were on the road, Portland I think and were way ahead early. Then bird starting missing everything turning the ball over playing awful. They ended up down by 2 and in a timeout to set up the last shot. When they left the huddle bird told mchale, f that I'm gonna hit a 3. Mchale said please don't you have missed everything all half let's just get to OT. Bird said nope, and when he walked past the blazers bench he told them he was going to hit a 3 and win it.
Ofcourse he did.
