I really wouldn't have a problem with Tebow with one of our second round picks. I would have a problem taking him 22nd, when we have more pressing needs that WEREN'T addressed in Free Agency (LB & D-Line, WR). Also, if they do draft Tebow, I really don't see them drafting him to be trade bait a few years from now. Brady is gonna be 33, and has been hammered with injuries the last few years, and I believe he's in his last year of his contract ? If they draft Tebow, he's our future starter. I think a few years under Brady and Belichick, Tebow would be just as good as Cassel, and we saw how well that went. Also, he'd be a great wildcat QB, and we can see how versatile he can be (maybe TE, RB, WR), he could be a good weapon for us.
That being said, if we are going to take an athelete to do several things, I much rather we take Jahvid Best out of Cali to be our future Kevin Faulk replacement. He can run, catch, and is a good retrun man. If he's there in the 2nd round, I'd love to see the Pats snatch him up.
All in all, the only concrete thing that can be said, is we have no clue what Belichick & Co will do. I wouldn't be surprised to see O-Linemen be drafted with the first 4 picks. We have no pass rush or receivers, but I wouldn't be surprised with anything Belichick does.
