Bears hire Marc Trestman as new head coach

I'm up late working on a document, and PFT has given us some 2am news:

According to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, the Bears will hire Montreal Alouettes head coach Marc Trestman as their next head coach.

I know Trestman, though barely (met him once, talked for a couple of minutes, in a group setting). He's a very smart man, but he's struggled at the top of the NFL coaching pyramids. Best of luck to him this time around, and I hope his time in Canada has helped prepare him for this.
