thats the thing... on intitial thought we may think we all want the arrangements to coincide with what works best for BB's football team, but that's pretty sad upon reflection. Its a game and this is his mother we are talking about. What example do we want him to set? If someone close to a player dies do we want that person to think "i cant support my family/go to the services because Coach didn't"... ?

It is nobodys business how another human being handles the death of a loved one.
And sure as hell aint nobodys business to judge how someone handles thst death.
People grieve in different ways. There is no one right way to do it.
All we should do as outsiders is offer condolences, keep our mouths shut and be respectful of the grieving family. Doesnt matter if its Bill Belichick or the guy down the street.

According to The Dynasty, BB decided to coach the Sunday following his dad’s death and arranged the services for midweek specifically because he felt that‘s what his Dad would have wanted him to do. Who knows, he might reach a different conclusion for his Mom.

For the game, probably not; but I can see McD running more of the practices this week and leading the flight to Seattle whenever they arranged it to leave...Maybe Bill joins them there on a later flight...
