PJ is pr0n.

Bro and others can worship Bart Scott and his mouth, but the obvious thing to notice here - Scott is re-fighting the last battle. That's a losing strategy.

Scott needs to focus on Johnson. Ive grown to hate the Titans, but Johnson is one guy i wouldnt mind having on our team. Maybe Finegan too

Good. I hope the Jets and the doughboy coach talk

trash all season long. I want every team they play to want to kill them until we do it on Nov 22nd.

That crap really hurts a team in the long term. It show that the team cannot handle any success and will create divisions that will blow up when they start losing.

Good for Scott, I like his personality. As much as you guys want to hate him, you'd love him if he were a Pat. End of story!

I personally witnessed Bart Scott's end zone unsportsmanlike conduct penalty tantrum in 2007 vs. the Patriots. He's a hothead with a big mouth who can't handle adversity when it comes his way. No f*cking way I'd want that jerk on this team.

Are you serious? What are you doing in such a place! I think it's amazing that it is 2009 and still there are many countries that reject freedom with inhabitants that put up with it.

The NFL will be playing in China and India in ten years. England is just a warm up act. All of our Patsfans members who are "stuck" there will have a chance to see a game then.

All of us are excited about that prospect.

Story re-opened.

I wouldn't. Talk doesn't impress most people, just winning games.

Speak for yourself. I like guys that are humble in victory and gracious in defeat, but when the clock's ticking their talking smack and kicking arse. what I can't understand is why the Jets can't shut the **** up already. Game 2 is in the past and they won, there are still 14 games left to be played.

LOL, I just got pawned.

Great play by Canada.

Great post, Gunnails! :youtheman:

Congrats to you on the win (that's to you alone -- the other million new Jets fans can go and boil their heads). Come by any time, there's a beer waiting.

He's a prima donna punk...poster child for that.. let's all congratulate him on his unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in 07...What a great guy?? Big mouth loser is all he is..He's perfect for the WWF...big mouth no brains..

Randy Moss said that there are no shut down corners in the league after he lost to the Jets, he said Revis had safety help all day, Moss said something about how he could be a shut down corner if he had Meriwether to help him out.

Revis was playing man coverage on Moss, watch his Int and you will see no safety in the area.

BB said the Jets were playing cover 2 and cover 1 w man coverage underneath in both instances. So basically, they played man underneath but kept either 1 or 2 safeties deep all game. This confirms what my eyes saw.

So, in short, Moss is telling the truth. And no one, including Revis, has tried to dispute him yet, only mediots who don't realize that you can play man coverage WITH safety help (ie, Ron Borges) have disputed Moss.

Can't argue with any of that. Even watching on my laptop I could tell that that pass was destined for no-good as soon as Brady released it. It looked like a classic desperation-chuck.

You mean the sort that Brady and Moss connected on 10 times in 2007?

I agree with you that the pass shouldn't have been made, but something tells me it's going to take more than one disconnect for Brady to abandon the jump balls to Moss.

Maybe if he was a waterboy. I hate this trash talking style. That is the anti-Patriot Way. I like guys who do their talking on the field.

Scott's trash talking already got him an unwarranted personal foul in the last game. The next time he plays the Patriots, he will most likely get another one that will be questionable. You trash talk like this, you make yourself a target for other teams and the refs.

BTW, I see no coorelation between what Moss said about Revis and the trash talking by Scott. Scott is just out right trash talking.

Moss is claiming he wasn't being covered just one on one all day. He isn't saying anything negative about Revis other than saying he isn't a shutdown CB because there are no shutdown CBs in the NFL. It wasn't like Moss said that he was owning Revis or anything like that. It wasn't like Moss was saying Revis isn't a top CB in the league.

Scott in the last week has said he wants to hit Brady even if he is fined (in other words, he wants to cheap shot him), said that Brady is shown to be a soft if he gets hit, and now threating to hurt Moss if he comes over the middle. How is that the same as what Moss said.

The Jets better be as good as they think they are because they are putting a huge target on their backs with all this trash talking. Teams are going to line up to embarrass them and if they aren't that good, they will be.

The difference between Scott and Rodney appears to be that Scott is allowed to speak his mind to the media. Have you guys listened to Rodney now that he's not on the team any more? He's uber-confident. If Scott were on this team this stuff would go down great in the locker room, and it would never be made public.

Guess what....the Jets game is over...this is relevant how?

...moving on to Atlanta....

You'll defend anything if it's anti-Patriot.

My 2 cents: they arrogantly boasted pre-game, their coach acted cheap by making ex-Pats as new captains, but they delivered when it mattered. So, they have every right to talk anything and continue to act cheap until we play again.

I really don't care if they go undefeated or lose every other game until our Nov game.

Hopefully BB and the team are focusing on one-game at a time and let us fans spew and speculate on how nice it would be give a resounding blow in Nov.

Until then, GO PATS!

That probably is true, but that doesn't mean that it was a smart idea to just chuck it up into double coverage because is a guy in your face. I'm sure that he would have checked Moss down and gone with the slot receiver who looked to have a step on the defender running across the field underneath Moss if he had time.

My point, though, is simply that it wasn't a well designed play. Throwing into double coverage just isn't smart (unless it's the Dolphins...). Sure, maybe Moss slowed down a little bit, but A. He probably figured Brady wouldn't throw into double coverage and B. Even if he went "full" speed, Revis still would have likely been there to contest it.
i dont think it was designed.brady changed the play so if anyone its his fault.
