Just goes to show how many bozos on this board have no clue about how to evaluate players. Bademosi always was an elite ST player and showed that he can actually play competently at CB. One of the best tacklers in our team.
But the clownshow rather prefers to make fun of the one tackle he was not able to make. Whatever.. money talks.. obviously too much for us but this opens up one of the comp spots now for a signing since you can only get a max of 4 comp picks and Bademosi projects to be a 5th whereas Lewis and Amendola are both a 6th.
He was a starting CB for us earlier in the season during Gilmore injury..He’s pretty well down the Pats chart on any reasonable ST evaluation. He’s not even on the chart as a corner. No way Pats were paying this kind of money for him.

The Patriots traded their 2019 6th round pick, and if they manage the rest of free agency carefully, they’ll get a 2019 6th round comp pick for losing him. They were maxed out on comp picks before losing Bademosi, but a Clayborn or Hill signing would likely offset one and bring the Bademosi pick into play. The worst part about losing Bademosi is that we gave up a draft pick
to get him. Based on his new contract, we may also lose Slater.
