The July 8th practice was so good that I thought we would replay it again.

Fixed. I don't know where my head is at today.

Jimmy Graham scores a TD and then injures himself doing his TD spike.

Thanks for the link, Rob.

Looks like Graham went down with an injury after snaring a touchdown catch working against the Pats defense...

Not learning anything from a Pats perspective, but Jimmy Graham seems to have a back injury.

Keep 'em coming, Rob. I'm at work and these will help my day go by a bit faster.

Note that we are getting only updates from the Saints' beat writers' perspective. So we have to put whatever we get in perspective.

I suspect the less than stellar start for the offense on 11 on 11 has a lot to do with the fact that 3/5 of the five starting OL remain out. Also, with the injuries to the group, it is probably difficult to build cohesion and timing.rhythm...

Is it just me or from the tweets yesterday and today does it seem like they're really focusing on working on the deep routes? With the O-line injured it must be like Superbowl 42 out there.

With the patchwork OL we have now, I hope that Brady doesn't come out firing off deep passes that take a long time to develop in the preseason game Thursday night. Let Hoyer or Mallett do that.

#Patriots and #Saints practice ended pretty early today. They play each other tomorrow night so it was a joint agreement to take it light.

So this thread is a bit of a bust from what I expected because of a short practice. Wish we did this yesterday.

BTW, I wish the Pats let the local guys Tweet. The one thing the Jets have over the Pats is that their beat writers Tweet all during practice.

Can you imagine the horrors unleashed upon the world if the Patriots started letting reporters tweet about someone catching a pass in 7-on-7 drills in training camp?

That level of evil could bring about the return of Cthulhu. It's just too much to risk.

I tweeted Ebert yesterday with a link to my video, and he follows me now on Twitter

It goes both ways. Imagine the bench McCourty crowd every time Lloyd got a big play against him? I think it is worth the negatives for the positives though.

I have heard a bunch of people say this over the last day or two to try and explain the reports of the struggling O and I dont think the OL is to blame.

Simple fact is that in TC you dont hit the QB and a play does not stop simply because a DL should have had a sack so even if the OL is playing like crap Brady should still be able to make his throws. Of course a DL getting through might still have an effect but not like in a game and it really should have minimal effect and still allow the QB and WR to work on their timing still.
