Vilma is a HUGE upgrade over Mark "I can't shed a block worth a darn" Simoneau, that's for sure! Even *with* Jason David, Simoneau was actually the BIG weak link to that D.

Gay went to LSU, so playing for the Saints will be like homecoming to him. I think he'll be OK.

Are you saying David Gerrard is comparable to Tom Brady? - or even to the top 5 QBs in the league?

Thats assinine,Gerrard is an AVERAGE QB and nothing more.

Now Brady,Manning,Palmer,Brees and Romo are of much better quality than David and I could go on....

Is Brees really better than Garrard? I really like Garrard, personally. He's no Brady or Manning, but I think he's in the next tier of QBs. Give him TO or Chad Johnson and I think he'd be great.

I'm curious about Garrard. He was given ample chance prior to last year and was never last great, and then all the sudden game on as a solid QB. I think, however, he is not the type who can put a team on his shoulders in the passing game, and he would be not much without the great RBs they have in Jacksonville.

And yeah, I think Brees is better than Garrard. Garrard would never pass for 4000 yards, in my opinion.
