When someone has to deny being a bare faced liar, you know you've got something.

NFL lawyer says he didn’t lie to judges during recent Deflategate appeal

I hope the court takes this into their decision and hopefully they see some jail time for lying under oath!

There will not be any jail time for Clement... he won't even be reprimanded. BUT this does make the NFL's case look bad.

The hearing was casual....there was no oath

And thus is the problem. You have a no BS approach; under oath, serious penalties of lying; you might actually get the truth. Put a gun against someone's head and make them believe you'll pull the trigger, wait until you see their pants get wet... very few will have the balls to lie. It's just too easy for people to BS the courts. It's disgusting. (of course this is kind of fantasy, you can't just put a gun to someone's head! )

Except that it is likely the decision was concluded before the hearing took place....they're going to look at what Berman did, not what this guy said

Can't cases be disregarded for such sabatoge? If filing the appeals and paperwork correct and on time are so important you would think blatant lying to 3 superior court judges would be a tad worse.

Oh well, just glad they are getting called out for their antics and lies. It is really hard to win a case when the one side can flat out fabricate their own story and sway the judges to see it only one way.

Feel much better about the case now.

So he complains about the lawyer who pointed out his lies as not honoring the convention of noting omission...and then omits the fact that the only time McNally/Jastremski ever talked about deflating a Football was when they were sabotaged by the NFL and putting them at 14PSI.

Strangely, all I can think is sucked in.

I thought it was 16 psi?

Actually, I'm thinking that this lawyer managed to violate the frikkin' laws of physics too. He demonstrated that he was able to suck AND blow at the same time.

ANNNNNDDDDD SWALLOWED!

That sounds more like it, couldn't remember off the top of my head though.

Guess I pulled a Mort

14 was what Rodgers told the world how he prepares his footballs.
