What I notice about Zapp is he oozes confidence.. obviously that is what you need at the position. If he plays well these last few games then the off season will get even more interesting.
I agree Zappe could make the Draft very interesting we probably could roll the dice @ QB and go with another position early. He's still on very cheap Rookie Contact also he seems to Play well when he's the Designated Starter. Our Offense seems very competent with him.

I don't understand why fan bases fall in love with a QB from the word go and defend him at any cost.

A QB, like any player, gets my loyalty only when they prove themselves. As of now, he is not named Mac and looks to at least have some poise and confidence so let's play him.

Does not change my opinion we need to go QB with 1st pick.

I like Zappe....hope he does well, but IMO...his ceiling is capped off...

I want a new QB of the future. Zappe can be the back up...and start some games sure....but you have to say that he doesn't do well coming in relief...see the Bears game last year, Indy game in Germany, and etc... he does OK with a full week of practice and limits turnovers which is paramount...so he can back up.

I always see ceiling capped off with QBs; what does that mean? Who decides that? Like Brady's ceiling was capped at backup QB?

Does not mean Zappe is anything btw. I just hate that expression as it's 90% repeating what somebody on ESPN said.

Maybe a bad phrase to use, but I don't think Zappe is going to get much better at this level.

Curran is suggesting we load up at talent in the 1st.. WR LT. And get a QB in the second. He seems to think that Zapp could be the starter come next season if he plays well. If Zapp could end up being that guy.. then me and @sb1 I don't think would have an issue with adequate QB play..

I like him. I'm not going to pretend like I don't. His size is overblown. People banging the table for guys like Caleb Williams ignore that he is basically the same size. Our offense is trash but Zappe can make it work. Zappe made Patricia's offense look decent. He is safer than anybody wants to admit and is still green.

If I had my way, we would go with Zappe and draft Jayden Daniels but let him sit a year or so. Our oline is poor and I see no signs of it getting better any time soon so I rather go with a qb with great pocket movement or elite speed.
Height does matter. Exactly why I don’t want Williams and prefer Maye, or Daniels

He doesn't have the height or anything resembling an arm to be a guy that can stick in this league. Adequate QB play sure, I'm glad he's not puking all over himself on the field like Jones has all season but his ceiling is very and I really do mean VERY low. We can do much better IMO. And we will.

The Panthers spent a bunch of capital to pick a guy first overall who looks like he's dwarfed by Drew Brees who is not exactly tall. Yikes.

IF he wins the next 4 games … they drop in the draft and Pats don’t get top 3 qbs… ergo Zappe saves his job. This board will blow up !!!

Every quarterback who plays for this beloved team can go **** himself until Tom Brady’s son comes of age. Go Pats.

Curran is 203Pat and stealing all my original ideas
