I don't know how he fits but he was impressive in the games I saw. Looked bigger than 210, ability to stretch the field, vertical threat. Some sites think he can run in the 4.3s which would be impressive with his size. Chad Jackson made a big jump last year after running a 4.32, we may see the same thing this year.

idk what kind of 'O' he fits into but hes a good comparsion to Andre Johnson or Javon Walker..kid is blazing fast, strong. not sure hes a deion branch quick kind of guy but he can stretch the field..his best comparsion in terms of ability/size from last years draft is probably Chad Jackson by measurables..strong, fast, great leaping but in terms of game, id say Johnson/Walker

supposivly kid ran a 4.28 coming out of HS which i dont believe but hes up there in speed..id say 4.36 is what he runs.

I am very intrigued by Meachem. In print, at least, he seems to have no weaknesses. He is big, fast, a team player, he showed up in every game with serious production, he can go long, he (reportedly) has the quick twitch to run short routes, he beats top competition (he abused Damieon Hughes), he chewed up the SEC, Cutcliffe loves him, he endured playing with the erratic Eric Ainge without complaint. He reportedly is a hard worker and worked his way back from a seriosu knee injury as a freshman. He is supposedly physical and strong and good at RAC. If he really runs a 4.3, I don't see how he can be rated behind Ginn, Rice, Bowe and Jarrett. He has equal college production and a superior combination of physical and mental attributes. Jarrett isn't as fast and has attitude and off-field issues; Ginn is small and inexperienced at WR and maybe not as tough; Rice is slower and seems to be a less physical player. Bowe is slower...So why isn't Meachem the #2 rated WR?

^1 think that scares me..someone on another board posted a link and he was saying "cant wait to get paid once i get in NFL"..worries me about maybe hes too much into money. hes not the safest option at WR but hes got huge upside if he gets coached up

Sounds too much like CJ for me. I saw him against PSU in Outback Bowl. Didn't do much. Justin King - So. corner did a good job on him. Keep an eye on him next year. Will be a 1st round pick when he comes out. IMO best athlete on PSU squad.

sounds like Chad Jackson? thats a very good thing..now if he gets the mental part down thats tremendous. Chads got tremendous talent..as does Meachem..difference is: CJ didnt get the playbook down and Meachem has yet to reach that level

i liked CJ in college better then maechum...
ill be honest im judging this on the one game i saw, vs arkansas
albeit a good team, but they completely took him out of the game, dont show me stats of the game (haha unless they are bad) but i watched the game up until it was pretty one-sided and shut it up...up until that point he didnt do jack Sh!t....
on the other side of the arguement, just from watchign highlights this guy is a good reciever...hes got all the necessary skills to be good in the NFL: Size, Speed, strength.
i just prefer those "big game" type players who step it up when it matters...i guess i question his mentality a little..

i would rather a guy like bowe, someone who can go out and perform when the spotlight is on (check out the senior bowl analysis)...
