Anyone got good links on the Pats/Jets Rivalry?

Kraft was new to the position. He's admitted to mistakes, and he's certainly grown into the role.

...and far better than Jerry Jones, who still can't get over his divorce with Jimmy Johnson 20 years ago, which was apparent in his tortured explanation of why he won't put Jimmy's name in the Cowboy's Ring of Honor this year. I can't explain why the Cowboys are doing so well this season, but will refuse to give that narcissistic football idiot credit - they would have more seasons like this year if he would just leave football matters to others.

The split between Jones and Johnson is sad, in the sense that we'll never know how long that run could have lasted if they hadn't been unable to find common accommodation. On the other hand, watching Jerry founder as an owner/GM and Jimmy fail as a HS, post-split, was, and continues to be (at least until this year), good viewing.

^ which is why I sometimes refer to them as "America's Soap Opera"

Jerry earlier this year said the Cowboys were the biggest TV show. I mean he craves for attention with such statements and makes a fool out of himself, yet wants to be regarded as a football genius....look at Kraft and Rooney as owners. LESS IS BETTER

Agreed, there was never much of a rivalry before Parcells. Miami was our rival, though they didn't think so. When the Jets were good, we sucked and they were never good when we were which was quite a bit more than them. Oakland was a rival, even the giants when the Pats weren't yet on TV.

And Parcells is an a hole, but he wasn't treated right in this instance.

To illustrate how little of a rivalry existed with the jets pre Parcells, look at the three on the road playoffs in 85. The jets game is hardly mentioned, while the Raiders was a blood feud and squish the fish is still memorable. I always thought it curious, but there just wasn't any juice to that matchup.
