AV is not signed or franchised yet and FA is next week.. im a little worried lol..

Yeah. What concerns me is that the Pats haven't even attempted to sign Givens. That means he's gone for sure.

I'm worried about AV and David Givens but I'm also worried that the Chargers are inexplicably going to allow Drew Brees to go to free agency which, I think, puts him directly in the path of Nick Saban. It's not that I think Brees is such a great QB but he's better than what they have now which olny improves the Dolphins. A very bad thing.

Forget AV and Givens - the CBA or lack thereof is much more alarming to me

If they don't get it done this year and go into next year capless, the NFL is in wild west mode and, to mix my metaphors, its tough to put the genie back in the bottle once that happens

Good point. The CBA is a big worry. I think resigning Richard Seymour depends on it.

Call me crazy but while we are listing worries, I'm still bothered by the Denver game. It was so unusual to see our boys fall apart the way they did. I'm worried the bad karma may carry over.

Do we know for sure that the Patriots are not working on these two guys? Or are we not getting any information because of BB's closed mouth policy?

Yes, I'm concerned. I'm concerned that the Pats have done nothing. Maybe they are working on things. Who knows? But the silence is a little worrisome.

All I know is that Adam had to get a new agent ( same agency though) and that may have slowed things down a bit. The originial agent has a spot of legal trouble. Also I believe they promised Adam they wouldn't franchise him this year.

Mike Reiss (good old Mike) says Given's agent says he hasn't heard anything from the Pats.

Listen to yourselves --The sky is falling.
Were doomed.
It's all over.
Dynasty is done.

Get a grip people.......

The CBA agreement will get done.
Adam V & Richard Seymour will finish their careers in Foxboro.
We will win more Superbowls this decade.

Cross your heart and hope to die? Stick a needle in your eye?

What? Me worry?

I'm not worried. AV will be kicking game-winners this year and probably will retire a Patriot. The Pats brain-trust is hard at work thinking about the future. Besides, its in their hands not ours. I have to believe they know what they are doing. :rocker:
