Anyone else get the impression BB is about to rain hell down on this team?

BB has always been tough, but it seems to me he's building up like a storm, and it won't be long before we see players benched and cut. Coordinators fired, etc...

Perhaps the team we see next year will have many new faces...

We already have. Galloway was benched and released. Thomas was benched and not released probably due to his salary. Springs has been benched.

This would be a more impressive prediction if you had made it before this morning's news.

Any thoughts on whether Moss will survive, or get traded / cut in the offseason?

His contract expires after this season I believe.

Being sent home for being late isn't "raining hell".

I'm talking about major changes... i.e. both coordinators canned, Moss not invited back, Thomas cut, etc...

We fans tend to have quick, highly-charged reactions. Belichick, not so much.

We'll see how everything goes in the next 4 weeks. I don't care how BB does it as long as he wins games and puts us in a playoff situation.

The other side of the coin might just be that his players are about

set to turn him off. They may give up completely and tank the

rest of the season just like they did BB's last year in Cleveland.

I think he already has been raining hell this season. Remember how shocked we all were when he traded Vrabel and Seymour ?

He has a quick hook. I think his rebuilding plan is only halfway there.

I think there are only two " locks " on this team. Brady and Welker.

The rest is up for grabs.

Did Kraft announce he's moving the team and I just didn't hear about it ?

Completely off-base, Jimke. Modell left BB to die and committed to move the team 1/2 way through the season. Players had no idea what their fates were.

This is a completely different situation.

What I know is that, BB almost puked after the Dolphins game. He bent down and had to spit something out of his mouth, it looked very sad. From that time, I have been waiting to see the fallout.

People, there should never be speculation here at Patsfans on when players are signed through or for approximately how much. Miguel's excellent cap page...

Miguel's UNOFFICIAL 2009 Patriots Salary Cap Information Page

contains the information. Interestingly, Moss (I'd really hate to see it come to this) could be cut or traded next year assuming I read the page correctly with his salary savings nearly offsetting the pro-rated bonus, while AD would still cost millions to cut.

Even in an uncapped year?????

Hopefully some hell is rained down on the coordinators..
