Any word on Mayo yet?

How's Mayo doing so far? I haven't really heard anything about him as far as training camp is concerned. Has he been impressive?

Out of the two days of minicamp, yes, supposedly he has "looked good." But you can't tell anything from minicamp, without pads, not at full speed.

Only thing I've heard from PFW is that he has shown better-than-advertised speed. Maybe not his intial burst, but that he gets where he wants quickly from sideline to sideline and dropping back. That's all. They said the same thing as the posters. Too early to tell.

I read on draftdaddysharks.com that Mayo is a complete waste of a pick and the Pats have not gone to the playoffs since his arrival. Apparently he not only can't bring them to the next level, he's a locker room cancer that's dragged down the whole team, and if they had any sense at all, the Pats would have picked someone else. The grades are in, and this pick is an F-.
