For those living under a rock, SAS dropped the N bomb on First Take again Thursday then instead of actually apologizing, went on to completely deny it on the next show.

So this weekend, Stephen A apologized for his apology and released a new statement....

I heard about that and couldn't help but think what a bunch of hypocrites the suits in Bristol are. Some unknown news anchor innocently says 'chink in the armor' in regards to the Knicks and Jeremy Lin and he gets skewered and suspended for a month without a warning. Smith on the other hand says this for not the first but the second time, and life goes on.

I find it ironic that the worldwide leader will be the very first to point fingers at professional and college teams for double standards when they so blatantly are just as guilty themselves.

I remember that article. I was a big Jeremy Lin fan and didn't like that too much but clearly ESPN has double standards.

Not so much that he said it, just his denial was absolutely disgusting. I guess if he apologized then they would have to fire him and he makes ESPN way too much money.

Personally I enjoy the show, even though it's obvious all they do is bait weak minded fans. Can't say I like SAS too much though since he constantly bashes the 3 of the guys I like most in sports: Brady, Lin and Tebow.
