Merry xmas

1. Bill Belichick, New England Patriots -- Forget "Spygate" and all the drama that has surrounded the Patriots this year. Belichick is simply the best coach in the NFL, both in weekly preparation and on game day. On top of that he is an astute talent evaluator and nobody in the league has a better handle on his roster and players and how to maximize their talents. Offseason acquisitions like WRs Randy Moss and Wes Welker and OLB Adalius Thomas are the kind of astute decisions that make Belichick a master. His weekly game plans are legendary in their attention to detail and are so innovative that his players are forced to focus hard each week and never get bored -- something unusual during a long NFL season. Belichick has ultimate control in every facet of the organization so all the credit must go to him. He is a great teacher and an outstanding strategist, and is truly the best coach in the NFL.
