Most people have no idea, and I hope they never find out. I haven't had time to keep up with it all, so I'm not going to weigh in.
Something to keep in mind; if these are false acquisitions, for whatever motive, the same inner turmoil applies. Unfortunately, there is no easier crime to commit than that of simply being accused (god forbid it is violence against a woman, youre cooked). People make snap assumptions and thats it. You quickly discover who in your life cares about you, because everyone else cuts ties. You begin to question yourself about everything You eat the legal fees, missed work, sullied name and get told you should be thankful you're walking free. When there is damning concrete evidence of intent/dishonesty on the part of the accuser, the DA rarely, if ever, seeks charges against them.
I'd have a lot less of a problem with action over accusations if there were some serious consequenses for accusers, when it is clear and obvious that they have lied for xyz motive. It doesn't happen nearly enough.
We all love to yell and scream that everyone is "innocent until proven guilty," but it simply isn't true.
From a quick skim on this page, it sounds like AB texted someone vague threats (i haven't read or seen them yet) to try to keep her quiet? If so, its out of line(although understandable if its really another false allegation). Frankly, he needs to listen to his legal expert(s), because I'd imagine theyre giddy about their bank accounts right now.
