Remember when the Pats played the Steelers in 2007 and Pittsburgh safety Anthony Smith guaranteed a Steeler win? After being beaten for two touchdowns in that game Smith apparently has no regrets with his pre-game comments.

Safety won't back down by Greg Bedard of The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel

"I really didn't learn anything, to be honest," Smith, one of two free agents the Packers signed in the off-season, said. "I'm going to say the same thing if anybody asks me if I think my team can win.

Unfortunately the Pats do not play the NFC North until next year, so we'll have to wait a while to see the back of Smith's jersey again.

Unfortunately, the Pats won't get a chance to kick their ass this year, but the Bears surely will. Cutler torching him with a TD pass or two would be righteous. Or Favre wearing purple torching him. Or a loss to the Lions.

Anthony Smith is a complete IDIOT. He still cant get over the fact that Brady torched him and that Pittsburgh D in that game. The Pats showed the Steelers that the AFC goes through New England. Ask Peyton Manning.

The boy is a bit slow. Did you really expect him to be more humble after we saw his mouth write cheques his ability couldn't cash...
