It's kind of cool how the three best QBs in the AFC are the three last QBs remaining in the playoffs on the AFC side: Rivers, Brady, Manning.
Defense is less of a factor in the AFC this year, whereas in the NFC a guy like Russell Wilson can beat a much better QB in Drew Brees by riding his defense and running game to the NFC championship game.
The two best QBs in the NFC: Brees and Rodgers are both sitting at home right now because they didn't have a defense that could bail them out in a similar fashion.
