Nice. He should take D'Bustashaw out to a nice steak dinner for that.

That was a pretty compelling performance. It also overshadows a very nice game from Anderson, who seemed to be involved in more than the one for which he was given half a sack credit. I'm glad he got it - Carter thoroughly deserved the award.

It is going to be hard to repeat the numbers though as you really need an indecisive QB who has no pocket awareness or presence, doesn't have an internal clock telling him how long he has been holding on to the ball, cant go past his first progression and has been told he is a winner and could have been in two Superbowls.

Well until next season that is.

Yeah, I heard the Pats D is actually 33rd out of 32 teams. 34th if you adjust for the lack of video when the TV announcers introduce the defense.

Just remember, everyone: D'Brickashaw Ferguson is an elite LT and is totally worth that huge contract that he got. Giving up 4.5 sacks to Andre Carter in a must-win divisional cl showdown notwithstanding.

Well, I guess you could have made some good money if you took odds and bet a wad that (a) any Patriot or (especially) (b) Andre Carter would be this week's AFC Defensive Player of the Week. I guess it's the kind of happening that keeps people going to Vegas.
