I really like the Venetian. It's beautiful. They have an inner courtyard, which is actually indoors, but you'd swear you were outside. It has an artificial sky and a ventilation system that makes it feel breezy at times. It's a convincing illusion: took me 10 minutes to realize I was still inside. And there are canals there! You can take a gondola ride through parts of the property.

Went there for March madness for 4 years in a row with a bunch of high school buddies flying in from all over the country. Casinos set up large screens in a room with all you can eat and drink for one price and you can bet while there.....

After Baker was kicked out of the 'Bama program, did he change his attitude? Probably not. Did he ditch his entourage? Nope. Did he ditch his guns? Don't know.

I am worried that if getting kicked off the 'Bama team, which must be very hard to do, is not enough to reform him, then there is nothing that Mayo can do to straighten him out.

We will see. It should be exciting....

What’s your basis for saying he was “kicked out of the ‘Bama program”? I found lots of claims he wasn’t happy with playing time, for example:
After two seasons with the Tide, Baker decided it was best to enter the portal and explore other opportunities. He did not see a ton of playing time through two seasons. Note that’s a Tide focused site, assume that once he was leaving the program they’d dish any dirt they had on him and there’s none there.

Saw a couple of rumors elsewhere that he was in the doghouse, one that suggested academic problems, but that’s about all. So what’s your information to justify that claim?

"...Suspensions at Alabama ... went to jail, charge was dropped. ...

...Alabama didn't want him back. He was supposed to transfer to Kentucky but that didn't work out ... why not? They did their due diligence on Alabama."

So OK, 'Bama did not explicitly kick him out, but pretty close.

Did Bedard give anything to substantiate those assertions? I looked for reports of suspensions and found a couple of unsubstantiated rumors but nothing with any detail or specificity. I also looked for arrest reports and found nothing at all. So what does Bedard offer as evidence to support his claims?
