All Access (Belichick and Dimitroff interviews, Mankins scouting process)

For those in the New England area...Channel four will feature a Bill Belichick interview, tonight, on sports final at 11:30.

Also, pay close attention to weei (you can listed online) all week for BB's annual pre-draft interview. I am sure Weei will put it in the "vault" shortly after it airs so all of can give a listen at anytime.

Does anyone know Felgers draft week plans?

Not surprised about so many teams looking to move down - it's been pretty clear since the end of the college season and especially since the all star games and the combine that after the the top 7-10 guys the talent level really evens out for the next 30-40 guys. That's why I've been throwing out trade ideas since Feb. suggessting that the Pats move down also to gain more picks.

Not many guys really stand out this year, while on the other hand there seem to be quite a few 'solid' prospects - guys who could start for 5-8yrs for a reasonable price. Excatly the kind of guys the Pats have used to stabilize and prolong their success. BB, PLEASE trade one 1st for extra picks, PLEASE.

Of course, since BB's public statements are always measured, you have to consider the possibility that BB was simply pumping up the value of his picks to the rest of the league to fuel more competetive offers...
