Phins re-up GM.. Miami has signed general manager Randy Mueller signed a two-year contract extension that will take him through the summer of 2010. Mueller has been the Dolphins general manager since June 2005.

I've been fairly pleased with his team building efforts to date.

Me too...he must be getting a "PASS" on some of the player selections and free agency choices they have made. I suppose everything was blamed on Nick Saban.

Only to the Dolphins does failed stint with the Saints and so far failed but mostly unproven stint with Dolphins = contract extension.

I used to love watching Herm's press conferences. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. "YOU PLAY THE GAME TO WIN"

This is great news for us. Maybe when Cam doesn't pan out and gets the axe in 2 years, they can rehire Dave Wannstadt? Or how about getting Dan Marino and his legacy of no Superbowl wins to come in and fix the......oh yeah even that dufus figured out how much institutional rot there was in this franchise.

His New Orleans stint wasn't exactly failed...He got Miami to give up two firsts and a third for Ricky Williams.
