This also hurts the narrative that mahomes was their kryptonite. Perhaps its their own coach and gm that is still yet to provide Allen with any sort of support.
Was it Beane or Mcdermott that fumbled twice and threw 2 picks?

Cmon man, Allen is ****ed with that team. He can only carry those guys so far. Still scored 30 in mile high and they lost

I'm at a loss with all of these Allen defenders, as I said in another post I can't understand how a fan base who watched the GOAT do his thing for almost 2 decades can watch a gunslinger like Allen and think he's among the best QBs in the league. He has talent, that's it. But Tom showed us all (or at least I thought he did) it's not talent that wins championships it's heart, and desire and most of all intelligence. QB is by far the position in sports that requires the most intelligence and Allen doesn't have it. He's too reckless with the ball and the ball is LIFE for a football team.

So if I'm trying to win a fantasy football championship I'll draft Josh Allen, but a real football championship? No thanks.

He sounds like an actual lunatic.

"Just slow it down" Why? So you can take another useless timeout on defense? ffs.
He’s still somehow running on the fact that he got the Bills back to the playoffs after the drought. He is not winning that team a superbowl.

I don’t know what there is to disagree on hahah it’s the literal rule! But it’s fine, we can drop it. It just keeps coming up.
Ok fine we'll keep going. If you were Andy I'd stop

It keeps comes up not because of a lack of misunderstanding of the rule but the back judge's observation and applicability of the rule to what happened.

This pic shows he has control, his knee is down, and is down by contact.

The "assumption" the ref makes is he lost control when he hit the ground which at that point would have been a live ball. I get that.

It's speculative to say the ball dislodged when Cooks hit the ground. We didn't see any juggling. The defender fell on him after he was down by contact. Does that mean defenders can rip the ball out when defenders are down by contact? Why wasn't this ruled a contested catch?

That is my problem with the call.

It was McDermott who is supposed to be some defensive genius who could not stop Nix. He is the white Tomlin. Thats 6 consecutive post season exits without making it to a Super Bowl.

Hey look, still photo!

I agree with everything you've said except I haven't seen video evidence of him losing control.
The fact that the other guy came away with the ball is prima facie evidence that he lost control - otherwise he would still have had the ball himself.

You can’t determine control with a still image. A still image is totally useless. Maintaining control through the ground is a process that takes place over time. You would need a video, or at a minimum, many progressive images.

By the way, Cooks didn't think it was a catch, you can tell by his immediate reaction.

It could also mean he ripped it out.

Cooks gave the ball up when the Broncos player landed on him...he's not a football player (IMO). V good Flag Football player though.

In real time Cooks did not have possession.

There can be photos of 1 second of the play that show otherwise, but you must possess the ball for longer than that.

Thats why there is instant replay, Ross. The defender fell on him. There is no way to determine if the the ball was loose or not because the defender was on top of him
