If Mahomes wins this he'll be on Brady's heels officially. If he loses the Montana fans will perk up after a year of slumber and be back with a case for their guy still being the second best. The stakes are pretty high, there is a big legacy difference between 4-1 and 3-2 in the SB as we all know very well following the loss in Super Bowl 46...
3 SBs in a row is huge and Pats could not achieve that. In fact Pats 6 SB's were split by almost 10 years. Winning 4 SBs in 6 years all under age 30 will mean that Mahomes will have almost pulled up even with Brady and high likelihood he wins 2-3 more over next 10 years.

On the other hand if Chiefs lose this SB, Mahomes will be pushed back a bit temporarily.
You have to give it to him.
He is a pretty good guy, down to earth, humble, well liked, ice water in his veins and clutch as hell.

His pace is quite impressive. But he will still need to replicate it again over the next ten years.

Assuming he wins in 2 weeks he still needs to then go on and double his production or he'll still have 7 or less and with their head to head Brady still is the GOAT.

I do not think KC will be able to run the ball at all against the Eagles. In contrast the Eagles should be able to run at will with Barkley and a fantastic OL.
If the game plays out like this, Eagles will dominate TOP and will win easily.
Chiefs need to find a run game but Eagles DL are monsters against the run.

Mahomes will need to pull a rabbit out of his hat, which is possible
Kelce is going to abuse the Iggles starting LB again like he did vs the 49ers when Greenlaw went down

Has anyone ever seen someone strapped to a cart after what looked like a minor hit to the head?

That Benford was playing today after being in the concussion protocol all week is criminal.

McDermott did what John Fox did in the 2003 SB - exactly. 21-10 to 21-16 (Miss 2pt), 21-22 (miss 2pt), 29-22 (KC/NE make 2pt), 29-29, 32-29. Both KC and NE should have been kicking game-tying FG down 28-31, instead the kicks were to win by the exact same score 32-29. McDermott just started 2 quarters earlier

The refs seem to really like him!

The Eagles won’t be able to run the ball either. The refs will call a hold on every Barkley’s big runs

Numbers 13:34 For forty years.... you will suffer for your sins and know what it is like to have me against you.

The good Lord has apparently forgotten to lift that curse on Buffalo.

That’s just an arbitrary set of numbers, comes down to how many Super Bowls they win ultimately
Correct. In totality. I'm not counting the one from 1969.

70 Steelers won 4 on 6.

Chiefs are on that path. We'll see

We won 3 of 4 and 3 in 6

Depends on who the refs are. Not if it's tonight's crew
The Super Bowl ref is the guy most famous for helping KC. Forget his name but it’s this guy:

I’m just glad we can go back to pissing on Buffalo

Yeah, that is not a team I would want to have to root for

Sort of OT, but can you imagine anything worse than having your son be a field goal kicker? The potential for devastation is always right around the corner and outside of a couple of guys in history, they’re never celebrated as the heroes

I'm pissed off and getting emotional poor Josh.

I still can’t get past that 4th down spot.

The ref at the top of the screen who had sight of the ball came in marking the ball past the first down line and the ref at the bottom comes in marking him short with NO VIEW of where the ball is . And they go with the ref who had no view. Its just insane
