About Brady "Taking Less"

I have been saying this for months and people keep telling me to screw off. Now that he isn't playing well, the rats are jumping off the sinking ship. That's a real surprise. No one wanted to talk about this a couple of months ago when I said it but a couple of bad games and Brady is no longer a saint, huh? A couple of more losses and there will be 12 people on this board as everyone will start saying, "No, really, I've always liked the Bengals." Brady never took a cent less to stay here and as I've said many times, it's a documented fact. Just look it up, which obviously you did.

People tell you to screw off because you've behaved like an ass since the day you showed up here. The rats are certainly out and scrambling, which is never a surprise in NE sports. However no matter how many times you say it, it is not a documented fact that Brady didn't take less to stay here. Belichick Fan didn't look it up either, he just looked at cap #'s which are only a bookeeping function. Brady took almost 20% less over the first three years than Manning got as a FA a year earlier. And with 3 rings and 2 super bowl MVP's he took less than Palmer and the glorified RB Vick got in extensions less than 3 years into their mega rookie deals and before either of them won a dam thing.

not counting the loss of earnings on Tom's money being essentially broken up into 8 incremental payments over 2 years vs. Mannings being in his investment account before he threw a pass under his [/new deal.

So that I can update my capfootnotes pages when were these 8 incremental payments??

The rats certainly are "out and scrambling" as you eloquently put it, nor, as you say, is it a surprise, particularly given the unbelievably negative lead given to fans by the Boston sporting media, and its Pied Piper in Chief: Ron Borges.
